About RAIDC

A small animal should
have a way to get help.

We bring people and appropriate animal-care resources together, one connection at a time.

Our purpose

We help close
the gap.

A person finds a bird or a rabbit in need. They want to help, but may not know which organization to contact or how to get the animal there.

RAIDC was created to bridge that gap: guiding the person, identifying appropriate assistance, and discussing transportation when it is needed.

Our mission

To help small animals in need, whether wildlife or pets, receive appropriate assistance by guiding the people who find or care for them and providing transportation.

Our focus includes birds, rabbits, squirrels, reptiles, and other small animals. The kind of help depends on the animal, its situation, and the care resources available.

RAIDC’s role is guidance, referral, and transportation coordination. Wildlife rehabilitation and medical treatment are provided by appropriately licensed rehabilitators and veterinary professionals. Contact us before arranging any visit or animal transfer.
